Obituary for Lonnie A Booth, Jr.
Lonnie A. Booth, Jr. departed this life on July 31, 2019, Columbus, Ohio. Lonnie was born November 7, 1972 in Richmond, Virginia, to Lonnie A. Booth, Sr. and Yvonne E. Booth. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was educated in the Henrico County School System and graduated from Henrico High School in 1990. There he exceeded in academics and sports, earning all district, metro, region and state in football. He accepted an athletic scholarship to Virginia State University in 1990.

After working several years in Metro Richmond a monumental opportunity arrived and Lonnie moved to Columbus, Ohio to work with NextLevel Sports Agency! Lonnie was extremely well liked and respected by many who came in to his presence. Lonnie held various roles within the agency and impacted the lives of several athlete both college and professional carrying the nicknames, “Bro”, “Big Bro” and “Money L”. Within the last several years, his attention strayed to his greatest attribute, servicing others. He had the ability to drive any vehicle he climbed in - 18 wheeler or sports car. However, he choice was a passenger bus, providing medical transportation to the elderly until his untimely passing.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Laverne Fenderson of Columbus, Ohio, his son and daughter-in-law, Dylan and Stephanie Booth; two grandchildren, Josiah and Uriah Booth; his mother, Yvonne Booth; his father and step-mother, Deacon Lonnie and Diane Booth; his four brothers, Antoine Booth, Michael Booth, Aaron Booth, Dane Robertson (Teisha); his two step siblings, Leondra Robertson and Lee Robertson, Jr.; his six aunts and his three uncles, his great uncle and aunt. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service, Monday, August 12, 2019 at 12noon at Chester Grove Baptist Church, Amelia. Interment: Chester Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
