Obituary for Rayshawn L. McFarland
Mr. Rayshawn Lamar McFarland "Rayy Lamarr" died unexpectedly at the age of 25 on July 3, 2019. Rayshawn was born on June 29, 1994 in South Hill VA to Lisa N. McFarland and John Boutte.

He attended Nottoway County schools and worked at Trout River Lumber and C&M Construction.

Rayshawn loved playing basketball and hanging out with his brothers and cousins on a daily basis. He had never been in any trouble, worked hard, never bothered a soul, and had the biggest heart and smile you would ever encounter. Ray was very funny and extremely passionate about his family and close friends. One of his favorite things to do was to joke around, he loved to laugh and make others around him laugh too! He was truly one of a kind and had his whole life ahead of him.

Rayshawn is survived by his Mother Lisa N. McFarland and Step Father Randall Jones of Crewe VA; brothers Malik Terry of Hawaii and Aronde Booker-McFarland of Blackstone, VA; his Grandmother Gerlin McFarland of Blackstone VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services Thursday, July 11, 2019 at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone. Interment private.
