Mary R. Robertson, daughter of the late Mary and Edward Jackson was born on February 17, 1938 in Amelia, Virginia. She departed this life on February 10, 2019. Mary had seven brothers, David, Cephas, Baby Boy, Joe, Jessie, Willie and Roy; three sisters, Lizzie Crawley, Margie Brooks and Shirley Jackson.
Mary attended school in Amelia County and graduated from Russell Grove High School. She is a member of Mt. Level Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Jackson of Amelia, VA and Lloyd Crawley of Richmond, VA; one grandchild, Rashad Utsey of Amelia, VA; great grandchild, Nasir Banks of Amelia, VA; devoted friends, Sandra Jones of Nottoway, VA and Katina Neal; three devoted nephews, Lonnie Jackson and Roy Wilson of Amelia, VA and Kevin Tucker of Alexandria, VA; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing for Ms. Robertson will be at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Manassa Hill Baptist Church, Amelia. Interment church cemetery.
