Obituary for Sharon E. Braithwaite
Sharon Braithwaite was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. In 1984 she met her husband Carlos Febrez (predeceased), whom she later had 4 children with. Sharon became a grandmother for the first time in September of 2003. Sharon later moved to Blackstone, VA in 2006 to be closer to her mother Sadie Braithwaite, and where she became a grandmother to 4 others.
After living in Virginia for several years, she met Jerry Wayne Lewis, AKA MadDog, and they cared for each other deeply until her passing. While living in Blackstone, Sharon worked at Hardee's for a short time and later stayed home to help watch her grandchildren.
Sharon was loved by EVERYONE that met her. She has left behind to mourn: her 4 children, Shanaisha, Ca-Lik, Antwon, and Kyia; her five grandchildren, Avianna, Kayanna, Lai-anna, Serenity, and her only grandson Za-Khi. She also leaves her Father Neil, nine maternal siblings: Nancy, Myrtle, Annie, Robert, Patricia, Veronica, Vondell, Pamela, and Keith, nine paternal siblings: Neil Jr., Renee, Nelson, Nayquan, Garrett, Lenny, Marcia, Rhonda, and Marshall, her Aunt Thelma, her goddaughter Ivory, her godsons Jamel and Tyheim, her Sister/Friends: Sharoya, Denise, Delores (DeeDee), Sharee, Rhea, and Jeannette. Sharon had a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and a host of cousins that she loved in their own special ways. She leaves behind more friends than we could all imagine and everyone that knew her, knew her as Ma, Poodie, or Sister.
Sharon was considered the life of any party. She loved to sing and dance, and was loved unconditionally. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Sharon is now free from any and all pain and has been reunited with her mother Sadie, her husband Carlos, and so many more predeceased family members in paradise. WHAT IT DO BOO... SHARON WE LOVE YOU!
