Miss Johnita Shanay Francisco was born on February 1. 1994 to Roxanne Davis in Lafayette, LA. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and best friend. She had a humble heart, a beautiful soul, an angelic voice and the best smile in the world. To everyone who knew her she was always the life of any occasion and will never be forgotten.

She had a humble heart, a beautiful soul, an angelic voice and the best smile in the world. To everyone who knew her she was always the life of any occasion and will never be forgotten.
Johnita graduated in 2012 from Nottway High School in Crewe, VA. She later received her Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Fortis College in Richmond, VA. She relocated to Louisiana for some time and then moved on to Texas. After leaving Texas, she returned to Chesterfield, VA to work as a dental hygienist. She lived her final days with her mother and her children in Crewe, VA until her eternal rest. She loved singing, cooking, doing makeup, spending time her family and sharing the Word of God.
She is survived by her children, Brent Smith Jr. (son), Jahlil Smith (son), Bria Smith (daughter), John Smith (son) of Crewe, VA; her loving mother, Roxanne Davis of Crewe, VA; her father, John Francisco of New Iberia, LA; her devoted sister, Jasmine Davis (Amber) of Fayetteville, NC; her devoted brother, Al-Sherman Davis of Crewe, VA; her maternal grandmother, Winnie Davis of Abbeville, LA; her four nieces, Aa’Lyrea, Aa’Ryn, Jade and Aniya; her two nephews Alijah and Elijah; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Murphy Dauphine; her maternal great-grandmother, Josephine Dauphine; her paternal grandfather and grandmother, Harry and Deloris Francisco; her aunts, Renella Davis and Velma Francisco; her uncles, Carl Davis and Donald Duhon; her cousin, Brittney Mouton; and her son’s father, Devin Rucker.
Viewing will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at God's Harvest Christian Center, 7685 E. Patrick Henry Highway, Crewe, VA 23930 from 9:30AM until 1:30PM, where service will follow at 2:00PM
