Obituary for Dirk A Wainwright
Dirk A. Wainwright, age 56 entered into eternal rest after a long illness, on April 25, 2023. Dirk was a twin brother. Dirk was born to the late Fellice and Helen Wainwright on October 9, 1966.
He attended Nottoway County Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1986. He gave his life to Christ at a young age.
Dirk loved playing horseshoes and fishing. Dirk and his twin brother Derek played in a lot of horseshoe tournaments and won lots of trophies. He also liked playing cornhole.
Dirk was employed with Piggy’s Plumbing until his health began to fail.
He leaves to mourn his death: two sisters, Lois Wainwright (Ronnie), Angela Green (Robert); his twin brother, Derek (Shirley); his best friends and buddy, Mike and Cheryl Pigg; a close devoted friend, Charlotte Haskins; three nephews, one devoted Ellerick; two nieces; other relatives and friends that cared for him during his illness, Pam, Elsie, Lillie, Qwe'Ondrae and Elbert Stanton; three aunts; one uncle; and a host of other family and friends.
