Obituary for Robert L. Bell, Jr.
On November 11, 2022, Robert Leonerd Bell, Jr. departed his life in Blackstone, VA. Robert was educated in the Nottoway County School System.
Robert loved fishing and telling funny jokes to all. He had a passion for playing the guitar. He loved cooking in the kitchen, making all kinds of food. Some of his favorite foods were pig feet and pond fish.
Robert was preceded in death by is mother, Ruth Alice Hayes; his father, Robert Leonerd Bell, Sr.; and his son, Kevin DeJuan Marshall.
Robert Leaves to cherish his loving and devoted companion, Yvette Marshall of Blackstone, VA; one son, LeShawn Bell of Blackstone; one sister, Patricia Taylor (Lewis) of Blackstone, VA; two brothers, James Bell and Mark Bell of Blackstone, VA; step-sister, Kandy Hayes of Prince Edward, VA; step-brother, Alfus Hayes, Jr. of Emporia, VA four uncles, Walter Lawson (Anna), Clarence Lawson of Baltimore, MD, Willie Lawson (Cheryl), Jimmie Lawson (Rosa) of Blackstone, VA; six aunts, Mollie Coles, Helen Alexander, Rosa Walker (Frank), Lucy McFarland (Charles) of Blackstone, VA, Marie Oliver (James) of Nottoway, VA and Gloria Fitzgerald (Jerome) of Crewe, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; last but not least, his loving and spoiled grandson, Kevin DeJuan Marshall, Jr., his pride and joy.
Viewing Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 12 to 7PM. Funeral Services Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:00PM at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone. Interment Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
