Obituary for Josephine T. Campbell
Josephine Tee Campbell was called home peacefully on October 2, 2022. She was born in Dinwiddie, VA. She married Robert Campbell and raised six beautiful children.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Robert Luther Campbell; sons, William, Richard and Collion Campbell; brothers, Ellick, James, Henry, Woodrow, Randy and John; Sisters, Bert, Rosa, Carie and Florence
Josephine was a kind, loving, caring woman who was loved and respected by all who knew her. She didn't complain and never asked for much of anything. Josephine never met a stranger. Everyone called her Momma, Granny or Aunt Josie. Her door was always open and she welcomed you with a smile. She never hesitated in offering you something to eat or drink. She always had a pan of biscuits and/or a sweet potato pie on the stove. After visiting she always said "thank you" for coming to visiting her.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Campbell, Lawrence Campbell and his wife Caroline; Daughter, Virginia Morgan; grandkids, Melissa Campbell, Antonio Campbell, William Campbell Jr, Craig Campbell, LaShondra D'shae Wilbon-Campbell; 12 great grandkids; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
We celebrate the life of Josephine Tee Campbell. She will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts.
Viewing Friday, October 7, 2022 from 1 to 7PM. Funeral Service Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00AM at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone. Interment private.
