Obituary for Clementine P. Hite
Clementine Perry Hite , age 72 was peacefully called home on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Envoy Nursing Home, Richmond, VA. She was born February 1, 1950, to the late Helen Perry Blackmon and Willie H. Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Perry Johnson.

Clementine attended Nottoway County Public Schools and graduated from Luther H. Foster High School with the class of 1968. At an early age she was baptized and joined Mount Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend David Gordon. After moving away, she became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church Dinwiddie and was in regular fellowship and attendance with Fourth Baptist Church, Richmond, VA until her health began to fail.

Clementine worked numerous jobs as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was always a hard and devoted worker. She loved her family and friends and would do whatever she could to help them.

She was married to David Hite and to this union one son was born, Dwayne.

Clementine’s memory will be forever cherished by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Alicia Hite of Richmond Hill, GA; granddaughters, Camren and Kenidee Hite; grandsons, James Frazier, DaMonte Thomas (Carina) and Tone Herndon; great grandchildren, DaMonte Jr., Brooklyn, Zemira, Genesis and Zion Thomas; a devoted brother Herman Fitzgerald of Blackstone, VA; uncle, Willie Perry (Juanita) of Crewe, VA; husband, David Hite of McKenney, VA; nieces, Lucretia Carter and Carla Jones of Richmond, VA; nephews, Darryl Johnson (Angela) and Mardell Johnson of Richmond, VA and Mark Fitzgerald (Zenobia) of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Rosa Yates; brothers-in-law, John Hite and Ben Hite; devoted cousin, Eula Mavin; a host of cousins, family and friends.
