Obituary for Latoya Shaunte Brown

Latoya Shaunte Brown was born to Eddie and Cynthia Brown on May 31, 1987, in Farmville, VA.
Latoya was baptized and received Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the Spring Hill Baptist Church and served on the Outreach Ministry and as an usher.
She attended Prince Edward County School and graduated in 2007. Latoya started working at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital in 2008 as a CNA and worked there until she departed this life peacefully and entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2021.
Latoya leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Mrs. Cynthia Brown; father, Mr. Eddie Brown; sister, Tiffany Foster; one special niece, Little Miss Shamyla Foster; one uncle, Mr. Rodney Clark; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Latoya will be greatly missed by many.
BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning,
that God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide
And thou we cannot see you, your are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
