Obituary for Dassie M. Robertson
Dassie M Robertson, of Rice, Virginia was born March 1st 1936, in Pittsylvania County Virginia to the late Lueisa and Arthur Beck. She transitioned into Eternal rest on Sunday, February 7th, 2021.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Robertson and son, Lawrence Robertson. Surviving siblings, Connie Pritchett and Bobby Beck.
She accepted Christ at The Triumph Baptist Church at an early age. Dassie Later joined The High Rock Baptist Church where she was a devoted and faithful member and did not mind testifying and praising God. She attended Pittsylvania County Public school.
Dassie was employed at Deluxe cleaners for three years. After which she was employed by Longwood University. While there she was awarded for many years of hard work and dedication until she retired in 1993.
She was married to Ernest Robertson and from that union came eight Children; Reva Dugger (Joe) of Richmond, Virginia, Barbara Lee (Carl) of Burkeville, Virginia, James Robertson of Rice, Virginia, Evelyene Williams (Kevin) of Richmond, Virginia, Ernestine Bayolr (Ron) of Richmond, Virginia, Ray Robertson of Richmond, Virginia, William Robertson (Glynis) of New Kent, Virginia, and Fannie Fitzgerald of Danville, Virginia. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her grandchildren; Darrell, Rodney, Gerald, Tia, Lawrence Jr., Damien, Avery, Cedric, Marcus, Octavia, Laura, Brittany, Tiffany, Aishya, Antonio, Adania, Kiera, twenty-seven great grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Â

Funeral Services Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12:00 NOON at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
