Obituary for Ella Woolridge
Ella Woolridge, born December 5, 1942, was the third child born to Joseph and Littie Ann Crawley Woolridge in Winterpock (Chesterfield), Virginia. She was preceded death by her father and mother; sister, Luvenia Haskins, and brother, Clinton Woolridge.
Ella attended school in the Chesterfield County School System.
She joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age. She looked forward to “Homecoming – 4th Sunday in August” when family and friends from far and near joined together in revival and having a good time.
Ella was a dedicated and devoted caregiver to her mother and brother. She worked as a caregiver in health care for many years.
Ella liked being around people. She loved music, cooking, and loved to dress.
She leaves loving memories to her family; two sisters, Virginia Archer of Richmond and Pearl Woolridge of Florida; one brother, Joseph Woolridge, Jr. of Richmond; two loving nephews, Roger Archer and Kenneth Archer; one niece, Brenda Archer; great nieces, great nephews, many cousins, and friends; dedicated friends, Viola Williams; Elaine Crawley, Edmonia Harris, and Mary Brown.
Funeral Services Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Chesterfield, VA with burial in the church cemetery.
