Obituary for Alfred Wynn
Alfred Wynn was born November 3, 1937 in Lunenburg County to the late Reverend Richard B. and Irene Wynn.  He was the youngest of fourteen children born of this union.  He received his education from Lunenburg County High School.
Alfred confessed Christ at an early age at the Pleasant Oak Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend C. L. Greenhill.  He served faithfully as a member of the Senior Choir until his health began to fail.  Although his health was declining, never once did he complain.
Alfred spent his time farming, gardening, and socializing with his nephew Clarence, nieces Clarissa and Carlene, and with his neighbors, ‘The Spencers’.  He was always ready for riding, conversation, and enjoyment.  He was also musically talented playing the autoharp.
On Saturday, May 18, 2013, God embraced Alfred in his arms and enfolded him with His love.  He departed this life at Heritage Hall Healthcare Facility in Blackstone, Virginia.
Alfred was also predeceased by his siblings, Henry, Bessie, Annie Mae, Arthur, Ernest, Annette, Bernice, and George.
Left to cherish his memories are:  siblings, Reverend Andrew Wynn and Samuel (Willie) Wynn, Baltimore, Maryland; James (Frances) Wynn, Mount Vernon, New York; Norman (Katherine) Wynn, Kenbridge, Virginia; Clarence Wynn (devoted), Victoria, Virginia; nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Pleasant Oak Baptist Church, Victoria with interment to follow in the Wynn Family Cemetery, Victoria.
