Obituary for William H. Wright, Jr.
God in his infinite wisdom called one of his own, WILLIAM HENRY WRIGHT, JR. (Billy Boy). He was the son of William H. (Bill) and Elizabeth Smith Wright (Baby Doll). He was preceded in death by his father, Bill; son, Taurean; brothers, Woodrow (Woody) and James Thomas (J.T.) Wright.
Billy joined the Cellar Creek Baptist Church at an early age. Billy Boy was educated in the Nottoway County Schools, where he was a great athlete. He served in the United States Marine Corp.
He leaves precious memories to: his mother, Elizabeth Wright; two daughters, Candice and Tracie Wright; one son, Raymond Hampton (Pee Wee); grandson, Raymond Hampton, Jr. (Little Wee); granddaughter, Alexis Hampton; three step-children, Jesse Hampton, Angela Faison, and Yvonne Nash; uncles, James Wight, Jimmie Morgan and Woodrow Smith; aunts, Mable Stokes and Iris Wright; two nephews, Bobby Reynolds and Andre’ Wright; one niece, Jamie Wright; a special friend, Lorrie Victoria; and a host of cousins, friends, and a devoted caretaker, JoAnn Watts.
Funeral Services Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Cellar Creek Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
