Obituary for William Boobee Jefferson, Jr.
On Sunday, September 1, 2013, God called one of His cherished children home with Him. He will be truly missed but God was ready for him to take a seat by Him in Heaven.
William Edward “Boobee” Jefferson, Jr., son of Helena Jefferson and the late William Edward Jefferson, Sr. was born December 14, 1976 in Richmond, VA. He peacefully entered into eternal rest at Henrico Doctors Hospital.
William, was educated in the Amelia County Public School System and graduated in 1996. He studied at Fayetteville University, Virginia Union University and Richmond Tech, where he received his Barber’s License. He began working at an early age, alongside his father in the family business, W.E. Jefferson Construction. He was then later employed by Domension Youth Services as a Counselor. At a later age, he sought God and was baptized at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Amelia, VA.
William enjoyed all sports but had a love for softball and hunting. He was an active member of Cooke’s Allen Softball team. He was known for his competitive spirit and always encouraged and motivated his team to do their best. He was also a member of Mangohick Hunting Club of King William, VA.
William leaves fond and loving memories to be cherished by his mother, Helena Jefferson; four adoring daughters, Kourtni, Kouri, Katie and Kathryn; sisters, Stephanie Baker (James), and Monique Jefferson; brothers, Devin and Telvis Jefferson; devoted friend, Lekicia Jackson; devoted cousin, Corey Archer; niece, Jakyra Baker; nephews, Jaron Jefferson, Jared Baker and Jamal Ross; stepmother, Lavern Pegram-Jefferson; step-brothers, LeRon, LeVon and Fred Jr.; step-sister, Lavern; uncles, Andrew Archer (Mable), Larry Jefferson (Pam), Ellis Jefferson of New York; aunts Helen Mack of Pennsylvania, Janice Archer, Rosemary Ellis, Caroline Clements and Queen Jackson; dear friends, CaSaundrea Parker and Jimia Brantley; a host of cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Amelia County High School, 8500 Otterburn Rd., Amelia with burial in the Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.
