Obituary for Wilbert Jones
Wilbert Jones,  84 of  Powhatan County departed this life on Saturday, March 28, 2015.  He was the son of George and Rebecca Jones of Moseley, Virginia.  Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Frank L. Jones, Sr., and his beloved wife of sixty-four years Geneva Jones.
Wilbert accepted Christ at an early age and joined Second Antioch Baptist Church of Powhatan, Virginia and attended until his health failed him. Wilbert was retired from Wesvaco Corporation in Richmond, Virginia.
Wilbert leaves to mourn: one uncle Floyd (Whiley) Wood of Philadelphia, PA; two nieces, Patricia Jefferson (Curtis) and Denise Hires (Kenneth); two nephews, Wallace Jones and Frank Jones, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Cora Henderson and Edna Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Second Antioch Baptist Church, Powhatan with burial in the church cemetery.
