Obituary for Wendell Layman Pegram
Wendell Layman Pegram was born January 25, 1953 in Bronx, NY. He entered into eternal rest in Farmville, VA on Sunday, August 13, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Pegram Hollins and Ralph Hollins.

Wendell attended school in New York and later moved to Virginia. He was baptized at the Little Bethel Baptist Church in Amelia, VA. Wendell enjoyed visiting with the elderly and his friends.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: a sister, Grace Pegram Mitchell and her husband Franklin of Amelia, VA; a brother, Kevin Pegram and his wife Loren of New York; a devoted uncle, James N. Faulkner of Amelia, VA; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia. Interment private
