Wayne was educated in the Amelia County Public Schools. He accepted the Lord as his Savior at a young age at Liberty Baptist Church in Amelia, Virginia.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1978 and was honorably discharged.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter F. Jasper, Sr., and his grandparents, McKinley and Senia Jasper, and William Mondrey, Sr.
He is survived by three daughters, Danielle, Cassonja (Ivery), and Brittany of Olathe, Kansas; his son, Wayne, Jr. of Topeka, Kansas; his mother, Mary M. Jasper of Amelia, Va.; two brothers, Walter, Jr. (Evelyn) of Manhattan, Kansas, and Steve of Amelia, Va.; two sisters, Joyce (Clifton) of Alexandria, Va., and Connie (Mike) of Amelia, Va.; four grandchildren, Trinity, Sinaya, Amaya, and Kaliyah; grandmother, Annie Mondrey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia. Interment Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.
