Obituary for Wayne C. Turner
Wayne Christopher Turner, “Doc”, was born in Chesterfield, Virginia on June 2, 1964. He was educated in Chesterfield County Public Schools. Wayne accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He worked for South Side Regional Medical Center until God called him home on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. He was very dedicated to his family and friends. He always greeted you with a hug and a smile!
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents: Linwood and Marva Crew and grandparents: Clifford and Marion Turner.
Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, daughters: Azell “Peaches” Everett (Michael) and Brianna Guy; son: Mondrell “Quint” Smith, Sr. (Ashley); sisters: Marsha Christian, (Arthur), Lorrie Turner and Cynthia Crew; a devoted friend: Sandra Moore; granddaughter: Ashton Smith; grandson: Mondrell Smith, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wayne will forever be in our hearts and through our memories of him, he will live on! The next time you step out into the sunshine and put on your sun shades, think of Wayne “Doc” Turner and smile!
Funeral Service Friday, April 26, 2019 at 12:00 at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia. Interment Lewis Family Cemetery, Moseley.
