Obituary for Waverly Sr. Boose
Mr. Waverly Boose entered into eternal rest November 16, 2014 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Homes in Blackstone, VA.  He was born on September 23, 1935, son of the late William and Claudine Boose of Blackstone.Â
He was reared in a Christian home and at an early age Waverly joined the Little Mount Baptist Church. Waverly attended regularly until his health began to fail. Waverly received his education through the Nottoway County School System.
On February 16, 1963 Waverly was joined in to holy matrimony to Clarine Green of Burkeville, VA. Â
Waverly was preceded in death by one son, John Green; two daughters, Geraldine Holley and Cheryl Green; two brothers, James and Orlander Boose and one sister in-law, Dorothy Boose.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Clarine G. Boose; one son, Waverly Boose, Jr.; three grand-daughters: Shanese Green of Rice, VA; Cikeyia Green and Shantel Green of Crewe, VA; two grandsons: Roderick Green of Victoria, VA and Reggie Beverly of Houston, TX; five great grandchildren; two sisters: Sadie and Elnora of Blackstone, VA. two brothers: William (Hazel) of Petersburg, VA and Emroy of Rice, VA; sister in-law, Susan Boose of New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Â
Funeral Services Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Little Mount Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
