Travis Worsham departed and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Travis was born in Farmville, Virginia on November 5, 1983 to Thelma Worsham and the late Edward Clarke.
Travis was a student of Nottoway County Public Schools. As a young adult he moved to Roanoke, VA. While living there he obtained his GED and became licensed to operate forklift equipment. Recently, Travis worked as a forklift operator at Optical Cable Corporation until his health began to fail.
Travis leaves behind to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Joi Bonds-Worsham; loving mother, Thelma Worsham; devoted stepfather, William Lee Hendrick; two cherished daughters: Amari Jiselle Worsham and Kyleigh Worsham; his loving mother-in-law, Joyce A. Bonds and brother-in-law, Reverend Jerome R. Bonds, Jr. (Shari). In addition, Travis leaves a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
One of the many highlights of Travis’s life was his love for watching his daughters play basketball. He was so proud of both of his girls on and off the court. He also was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, there was no team better than his team.
Travis was a happy man that loved his family and loved making people laugh. He will truly be missed but his memories will live forever in our hearts.
