Obituary for Tracey A. Jackson
Tracey Alonzo Jackson was born to the late James Taylor, Sr. and the late Delno Jackson Miller on February 22, 1964. He attended and graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1983. He furthered his education at Norfolk State University.  Tracey was employed as a lineman at Dominion Virginia Power from 1986 to 2009. From there he was employed by C.W. Wright Construction and finally Team Fischel. Tracey was an avid hunter and loved turkey shoots.
Tracey accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1990 under the leadership of Reverend Horace Montague, Sr.
In August of 1986, Tracey was joined in holy matrimony to Rozena Jones. To this union three beautiful children were born. In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by his son Xavier Levon Jackson.
He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy a wife Rozena, two daughters, Constance and Shannon, three brothers, James Taylor, Jr. (Annette), Donnell Taylor, Richard Miller, Jr., one sister, Nivia Davis-Taylor (Kenneth), father-in-law, Harold Jones, mother-in law, Barbara Jones, sister-in- law, Brenda Smith (Malcolm), step-father, Richard Miller, Sr., step-mother, Ruth Taylor, five nieces, one nephew a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Special honor is given to devoted friends Ernest & Carol Allen and Robert Gilliam.
