Obituary for Tom L Davis
Tom Lorenzo Davis, son of the late Anna Lee and Archie Lee Davis, Sr. was born on May 24, 1966 in Nottoway County, Virginia. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
He attended the public schools of Nottoway County. He played sports while attending school and was proud of his accomplishments as an athlete. Tom enlisted into the United States Army for a short period of time. He was employed at various establishments throughout his life.
On May 1, 1999, Tom married Donna Woodson, and this union was blessed with two children. Although this union dissolved, they continued to co-parent, love and respect one another and their children.
Tom was well known for his boisterous personality. He liked to be the center attention and was always able to make people laugh and smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tom was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Archie Lee Davis, Jr.
Tom leaves to cherish precious memories: one son, Lorenzo Eppes of Blackstone; three daughters, Chimere Eppes of Blackstone, Gabriel Davis and Aladria Davis of Farmville; seven grandchildren, Layanna, Lamar, Lamel, Layla, Lashuad, Angel all of Blackstone and Dewan of South Hill; four sisters, Evelyn Wallace (Robert), Frances Puryear, Lucy Quarles (Alonzo) and Mutrey Ingram (Terrance) all of Blackstone; two brothers, Calvin Davis of Richmond and Robert Davis (Tara) of Chester; aunts, Gloria, Odessa, Mary (Ellis) of Lunenburg, Joyce of Alberta, Audrey of Woodbridge and Dorothy of North Carolina; uncles, Franklin (Martha) of Lunenburg and Charlie of Kenbridge and a host of others relatives, devoted friends, James Goode, Thomas Harris and Alonzo Hester and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1PM at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home.
