Obituary for Theodore R. Foster, Jr.
Theodore Foster, Jr., son of Jerue Foster and the late Theodore Foster. Theodore was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on July 2, 1956. He departed his life on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at McLeod Regional Hospital, Florence, South Carolina.
Theodore graduated from Yonkers High School, Yonkers, New York in 1974. At an early age he accepted Christ and became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Mt. Vernon, NY. He served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1984. After returning from the military he moved to Baltimore, Md where he met the love of his life Shelia. He was employed as a civil engineer for C. R. Jackson, Inc. for twenty years before retiring. After living in Baltimore for many years he moved to Florence, South Carolina until God called him to his lovely home.
Theodore was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a bedrock to many family members and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Jerue, his loving wife Shelia; one son, Eric (Kisha); three daughters: Johanna, Shaleah and Jernay; four grands, Portia, Kyshanah, Shandon and Reba; two great grands Michael Jr. and James Jr.; god-brother Anthony; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, Blackstone. Interment Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
