Obituary for Theo "Bunny" Greene
Theo Tyrone “Bunny” Greene entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2010 at his home in Blackstone, Virginia. Bunny was born in Nottoway County, Virginia on May 11, 1953 to Mary L. Green and the late Robert E. Rice.
He was baptized at an early age at Mount Zion RZUA Church. He graduated from Nottoway High School in 1972.
Bunny entered the United States Army in 1976 and served for twenty years. He worked at Taylor Ramsey Company until his health failed. He loved music and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Green, a devoted wife, Tammy Greene, daughter, Tanika Green, granddaughter, Mi’Asia Johnson, all of Blackstone, Virginia; two sisters, Joyce Green and Vera Dance both of Blackstone, Virginia; four aunts, Elizabeth Foster of Blackstone, Virginia, Edna Morgan, formally of Blackstone, Virginia, Dorothy Craig of Brunswick County and Gracie Epes of Baltimore, Maryland; one uncle, Landus Hicks of Blackstone, Virginia; one nephew, Kevin Dance of Blackstone, Virginia; two nieces, Tarshia and Melinda Dance both of Blackstone, Virginia; mother-in-law, Corrine Patterson of Blackstone, Virginia; four brothers-in-law, Kennedy Patterson of Baltimore, Maryland, Crawley Patterson (Nicole), Francis Patterson and Jeffery Patterson (Charletha) all of Blackstone, Virginia; a devoted cousin and friend, James Foster and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
