Obituary for Cookie
On Monday, November 1, 2021, Thelma M. Parham fondly known as “Cookie” transitioned into eternal life. She was born on July 2nd, 1954 to the late Nat Turner and Dorothy Mae Parham of Crewe, Virginia. Cookie was proceeded in death by her brother the late Clarence T. Parham Sr. of Crewe, Va. Cookie accepted Christ at an early age and continued to believe until death. Cookie attended Nottoway County Public Schools. Cookie was a hard worker with a kind and loving spirit. Everyone that came in contact with her fell in love with her spirit.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Natasha L. Parham of Chesterfield, one granddaughter, Kylah N. Braxter, three nieces, Marguretta Casper(Floyd) of Crewe, Natalie Jackson(Dwight) of Louisa, Destiny Myer of King William, three nephews, Clarence Parham Jr.(Heidi) of Puerto Rico, James Parham (Elaine) of Las Vegas, , Shane Myer of King William. She had an unexplainable bond with her aunt Natalie Robertson (and family), aunts Thelma Monroe of Queens New York and Shirley Fowlkes of Crewe, cousin Lillian Tucker (Irvin). She leaves to cherish her memories a host of cousins and friends. One special friend Walter Webster of Rice, “paternal” son Sherwon Wainwright of Crewe, sister-in-law Dorothy Parham of Crewe. paternal daughter Vanita Ferrell and children (Layla, Julien, and Jasion). She will also be missed by the Davita Dialysis Team and the VIP Transportation Team.

Funeral Service: Saturday, November 6, 2021 at W.E. Hawkes & Son Chapel at 1pm.
Interment: Robertson Family Cemetery, Crewe, VA
