Obituary for Thelma Holloway
Thelma “Tabby” Holloway of Richmond, VA and formerly of Blackstone, VA passed away at her home on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was born February 13, 1935 to the late Joseph and Ida Bell Holloway in Nottoway County.
Tabby loved the Lord! Her favorite scripture was John 14 and she would often sing “Somebody Prayed For Me”. At an early age she joined Shiloh Baptist Church. After moving to Richmond she attended Triumphant Baptist Church. She enjoyed returning home to Blackstone year after year to attend homecoming at Shiloh.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph C. Sr., Richard A. Sr., Charlie L. Holloway and one sister, India V. Sears.
Her beautiful memory will forever be cherished by her sister, Ida A. Frazier of Richmond, VA; her brother, James A. Holloway of Detroit, MI; two sisters-in-law, Reverend Addie Holloway of Amelia, VA and Mary Wallace Holloway of Richmond, VA; sixteen nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
