At an early age Terrie gave her life to Christ at Community Baptist Church where she served on the Welcome Committee, Junior Usher Board and the Youth Choir.
Terrie had a passion for people, she enjoyed traveling, entertaining, cooking and taking care of other people. She just loved celebrating life.
Terrie leaves to cherish in her loving memories: her loving and devoted mother Martha Jackson, her long-time companion, Mac Arthur Macklin, Jr., her son, Brocc (dog), a sister, Celeste Jackson and a brother, John H. Jackson, Jr., all of Yonkers; three nieces, LaKeya and Terrie Caldwell of Yonkers and Shameeka Dunkley of Virginia; nephew Byron (BJ) Jackson of Amelia, VA; cousin Jillian whom she considered a niece; one great nephew, Ja'Keem Patrick; great niece Keyonni Shinette of Yonkers; three godchildren, Thomas Williams, Donte Odom and Dejahnara Macklin; longtime friends, Glen Belton, LaTonya Blige DaCosta, Yvonne Coleman, Tunja Robinson, Angie Macklin, Miranda Leonetti, Sabrina Stephens and Joe Correia; Terrie also leaves a host of aunts, uncles (she had a special love for her Uncle Billy), cousins and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Amelia with interment in the Promise Land Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.
