Obituary for Terrence F. EL, III
Brother Terrence El was born April 11, 1975 at Fort Belvoir, VA. He was known to everyone fondly as “Tee”. He attended schools in various states because of his parents military assignments. He later settled and completed school in Amelia County Public School System and graduated in 1993.
As a child born into the Moorish Science Temple of America, he was a starch believer of its creed and principles. He would always proclaim his Nationality as Moorish American and try to adhere to the teachings of Noble Drew Ali. He was a member of Temple #6, 2019 N. 28th Street in Richmond, VA.
Tee was an outgoing fun loving person who literally touched everyone he came in contact with. He wore a smile bigger than life and had a loving personality that touched the lives of all that met him. Everyone that got to know him, had to love him.
He was a son that was so full of fun and very intellectual. A person that loved sports, horse back riding, fishing and a good time. He was a practical joker, often pulling pranks on his mother. He and his father would try to spend quality time together when time permitted. He worked with his father with A-1 Communication, a contractor for Comcast.
He was a devoted father and friend to his two children Alexus and Trey whom he loved and adored. They were the pride of his very being. He supported them in their various school activities and other endeavors, and this meant physically accompanying them. He enjoyed teaching them their acts and how to give honor in the Moorish Science Temple.
Tee had an ongoing and loving relationship with his sister Courtney and brother Andre’. They often went out together roller skating, go carts, and just hanging out. Even though he was not the oldest he was looked upon as a leader.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: two children Alexus and Terrence 111; mother and father Terrence and Dorothy; brother and sister Andre’ and Courtney. He is also survived by the mother of his children Stephanie Martin; his grandparents Sim and Julia Robertson of Jetersville, VA and Carl Jefferson of Philadelphia, PA; two nephews; four aunts; three uncles; four great uncles; one great aunt; and a host of cousins and friends too numerous to name.
Funeral Services Sunday, May 3, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Amelia County High School Auditorium, Amelia, VA with private interment.
Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home of Amelia in charge of the arrangements.
