Obituary for Teresa A. Brown
Teresa Annette Brown departed this life on May 29, 2014 at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV), located in Richmond, Virginia. Her pain and suffering had come to a peaceful end.
Teresa (better known as “Tee”) was born on April 6, 1973 in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Elizabeth Jasper and McKinley Melvin Jasper. Teresa was educated at Brunswick County Public Schools and resided at Envoy of Lawrenceville in Lawrenceville, Virginia. She received the Lord at an early age at St. Francis Catholic Church in Powhatan, Virginia. Teresa was well loved by her family and always had a bright and heart-warming smile on her face. One of her favorite words whenever we saw her was, “cake!”, as she had a massive sweet tooth.
Teresa leaves behind a host of family and friends: two sisters, Doris Mayo (Monroe) of Amelia and Elaine Howell (Warren) of Amelia; one nephew, Taj Howell, Sr. (Shannon) of Amelia; three nieces, Tonja Mayo of Chesterfield, Tierra Mayo of Midlothian, and Tasha Howell of Amelia; one great nephew, Taj, Jr. and one great niece, Tashyah both of Amelia; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Amelia with private burial. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
