Deaconess Shirley Jean Wade was born September 12, 1939, to the late Bernice and Ruben Green Sr. Shirley joined Second Antioch Baptist church at an early age. Shirley’s passion of caring for others started early in her working life. She used that passion to cultivate a successful career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was often sought out by local families to care for their loved ones. She was always described as a caring and giving nurse.
