Obituary for Sharon D. Fitzgerald
Sharon Doswell Fitzgerald, daughter of the late Rose and James Doswell was born, December 16, 1954 in Baltimore, MD. She departed this life on Tuesday December 27, 2016. She was pre deceased by seven of her siblings.  

She later moved to Virginia and attended Nottoway County Schools. Sharon was a baptized Jehovah's Witness.

She married her husband Alvin Fitzgerald who preceded her in death in 2010. On August 31, 1977 they had two daughters Keecha and Malaya Fitzgerald.
   
Sharon was a certified dietary manager. She also worked for the Cumberland County School Systems over the last several years.

she was a very kind-hearted person with a wonderful sense of humor and had a way of making people laugh. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memories her two daughters Keecha and Malaya Fitzgerald both of Fayetteville North Carolina; her four grandchildren Devin, Emanuel, Eiliyah and Eniyah a great-grandchild Da'reiah, two brothers Anthony and James Doswell both of Baltimore Maryland one nephew Travis Doswell; mother-in-law Alma Fitzgerald of Nottoway, VA; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia.
