Russell L. Jackson, son of the late Carl and Annie Eanes Jackson was born on May 17, 1947. He departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at his residence in Crewe, VA.
Russell was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Mae Farrar; his brothers, Horace, Lonnie, Carnell, Carl Jr., and Herman Jackson.
Russell was educated in the Nottoway County Public School System. He served in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge.
Russell leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Anthony Branch and wife Anjanette of Chesterfield, VA; two grandchildren, Antwan and Andrew; two brothers, George Jackson (Mary) and James Jackson (Alice), both of Pennsylvania; a devoted cousin, Audrey Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Friday, June 15, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Sharon 7th Day Adventist Church, Crewe with interment in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia.
