Ruby Faye Swann, was born on January 1, 1956 to Herman A. Swann and Ruby L. Anderson. “Faye” as she was commonly called, was called home on April 7, 2013 at the age of 57.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lucille Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her beloved sons, Eric L. Swann of Amelia, VA and Henderson Wynn of Richmond, VA; five sisters, Nancy Johnson of Buckingham, VA, Shirley Lucas of Blackstone, VA, Barbara Ann Eppes of Amelia, VA, Linda Eppes of Richmond, VA and Pearl Alice of Blackstone, VA; one brother, Robert Eppes of Crewe, VA; five grandchildren, TreMann Mann of Farmville, VA, Alyssa, Charity and Gabriel Swann of Amelia, VA and Daquan Swann (Heather) of Amelia, VA; one devoted uncle, Arthur Anderson (Janet) of Burkeville, VA; devoted cousin, Adam Anderson (Jamie) of Rice, VA; Michael and Nicholas Burke, children of Heather, Eric’s girlfriend, whom she babysit; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 in the chapel of Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia. Interment private.
