A Time To Be Born…...Rowland Ethan Anderson was born April 14, 1961 in Nottoway Virginia. Son of Ray Charles Anderson, Sr. and Carrie Ward Anderson, he was the third of seven children.
A Time To Die…...Rowland Anderson’s call to eternal rest came on Monday morning, August 24, 2009 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.
A Time To Learn…..He was educated in the public schools of Nottoway County.
A Time To Laugh…...The joy of Rowland’s life was his family, friends and having a good time with lots of entertainment. That was Rowland.
He was a kind person and would give a helping hand to anyone. Rowland was mostly self employed and was given a gift by God to do most anything as a handyman.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Rowland Ethan Couch of Farmville, Virginia; his mother, Carrie Anderson and step-father Roscoe Anderson, Sr.; four brothers, Ray Charles Anderson, Jr., Ronald Anderson, Vincent Anderson and Randy Anderson; step-brother, Roscoe Anderson, Jr.; two sisters, Annette Jackson (Bill) and Sharon Oliver; four step-sisters, Renee Morgan, Gwendolyn Pritchett, Linda West (Walter) and Carolyn Anderson (Andre); a very devoted friend, Ann Robertson; devoted cousin, Tina Bradshaw; two special friends, Robert Langston and George Fitzgerald; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Dominion Worship Center, Crewe with interment in the Anderson Family Cemetery, Crewe.
