Obituary for Roslyn Renee' Day
Roslyn Renee Day, born on March 7, 1960 at Saint Philips Hospital in Richmond, VA, departed this life peacefully on March 28, 2024 surround by her love ones.
Renee started and completed her lower education in Elmsford, NY school district. She went on an pursued higher learning at Farming Dale University in Long Island, NY. She was employed by General Motors in Terry Town, NY. Outside of work, Renee found joy in simple pleasures; such as taking care of the neighborhood kids, doing hair, shopping on Amazon, knitting, and indulging in African-themed movies and shows. However, her greatest happiness came from spending quality time with her loved ones, always ensuring there were snacks hidden away for sharing
Renee accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined with Universal Cathedral Ministries. She was active in attending Sunday School, Bible Study and Worship Services until she moved to Texas. Upon her return health began to decline, however she was still very much apart of our spiritual family.
Renee is survived by her cherished children: David Lamar Banks, Erika Banks, and Kristin Banks McMiller (Jerome).bonus children: Akeeyah, Richard, and Shawn Day. Renee leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her grandchildren: Kymarri Iyanna, Keon, Evan, Shannon, William Jr., David Jr., India, Jayla, Sean, Adriana, and Nadia. She was blessed with a great-grandchild, Grayson. A loving father, William G. Robinson, and devoted mother, Regina Robinson, her caring siblings: Rita Jones (Jeffery), Eric Robinson (Schemeka), and Deric Robinson (Sharmmetric), Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, Universal Cathedral Ministries and countless family members and friends.
Renee was dearly loved by many and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of thoe who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will continue to bring warmth and smiles to all who were touched by her presence.
