Obituary for Roscoe Lee Anderson III
Roscoe Lee Anderson affectionally known as "Scoe" "Junie" and "Bugg" was born on November 26, 1992 in Farmville, Virginia to Roscoe L. Anderson Jr. and Catrilia Booker.
Roscoe graduated from Nottoway High School in 2012 where he played basketball and wore the Number 34 proudly. He worked for Genesis 360.
Roscoe was a great father! He loved spending time with his family and friends, he had a smile that lit up the room whenever he entered. He loved to dance, sing and joke around.
Roscoe was preceded in death by his Grandmothers Mary Anderson, Shirley Booker and his brother JayQuan.
Roscoe departed this life on Friday, September 29, 2023 in Henrico County, Virginia.
He is survived by his one and only baby boy Ameer Anderson, His loving parents, mother Catrilia Booker, father Roscoe (Gladys) Anderson, Jr of Blackstone, VA, Grandparents Roscoe (Carrie) Anderson Sr. His Siblings; brother, Tyrone Booker, sisters Kiara & Keondra Booker, Step sisters Christina, Christa and Cierra Abbott. A devoted Girlfriend and mother of his son Denise "Bookie" Byrd. His aunts, Linda (Walter) West, Carolyn (Andre) Anderson, Nicole, Renarto and Vondena Booker, Uncles, Milton Carter, Otto, Randy, Sterling Bradshaw, Ralph (Jacqueline)Bradshaw, Michael Bradshaw, James Booker. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that were more like siblings.
Viewing will be Friday, October 6, 2023 from 1 p.m.-7 p.m. at W. E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, 504 East Street, Blackstone, Virginia 23824.
Service will be Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Nottoway Middle School Auditorium, 5279 Old Nottoway Road, Crewe, Virginia 23930.
