Obituary for Roger P. Trueheart
Death has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. On May 31, 2020 God called Roger P. Trueheart to his eternal rest. Roger was born May 27, 1965 in Amelia, VA to Carter Trueheart and the late Betty L. Trueheart; he is also the brother of the late Herbert “Big Bird” Trueheart. He was educated in the Amelia County Public Schools and at an early age became a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. Roger was always willing to lend a helping hand; he was a jokester, he was kind, and he simply had a heart of gold.

He leaves to mourn: his father, Carter Trueheart; five aunts; five uncles; one nephew, Dwayne Delaney; one great-nephew, Ayden Delaney; one niece, Tanesha Delaney; and one great-niece, Aria Lillian-Simonne Delaney; and a host of cousins, and life-long friends.

Memorial Services Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, Jetersville.
