Robert Louis Ingram entered eternal rest on October 13, 2013 in Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, VA. The eldest son of three children, he was born on February 19, 1953 to the late Louis Edward and Martha Craft Ingram of Blackstone, VA.
Robert was educated in Nottoway County Public Schools and graduated from Nottoway Senior High School in 1971. He attended Southside Virginia Community College.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church of Blackstone, VA. He accepted his call to ministry and gave his trial sermon in 1977.
Robert resided in Richmond for most of his adult life. He was married to Drew Stanton and from this union, three sons were born.
Robert worked for several employees. He worked 20 years for the City of Richmond and retired from it's Traffic and Sign Department in 2015. After retirement, he returned to Blackstone to the family home where he lived for five years. When his health began to fail, he returned to Richmond.
Robert is survived by: his three sons, Jonathan (Sydney), David (Sara) and Patrick, and one granddaughter, Ivy, all of California; one brother, Howard (Rhonda) of Hampton, VA; one sister, Martha Savannah, of Richmond, VA; one niece, Tenicia, of Landover, MD; three aunts, two uncles; and a host of cousins.

Funeral Service Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00AM at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone.
Interment private.
