Obituary for Robert Gerry Harris
Robert Gerry Harris entered eternal rest on Monday, May 20th, 2019 after a brief illness and stay at Johnston Willis Hospital. Gerry was born November 7th, 1955 to Elrean Ruffin Harris of Amelia and Lorenzo Harris of Powhatan, Virginia.

He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Hollywood Baptist Church, where his membership remained. He was educated in Powhatan County Public Schools.

Gerry was employed by Philip Morris for over 30 years until entering retirement in 2009. Among his many hobbies, he loved working on cars the most including his beloved Blue Magic. In the later years, he could be found visiting family and friends in the community especially during weekdays in Powhatan Walmart.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Tiffany White (Jeffery); one son, Cameron Jady Harris; two grandsons, Elijah and Jordan White; his mother, Elrean Harris; one brother, Lorenzo Harris Jr., one sister, Grace Goode; one aunt, Lillian Gray; a host of cousins, friends and coworkers.

Funeral Services Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Flower Hill Baptist Church, Amelia. Interment church cemetery.
