Obituary for Robert C. Jackson
Robert C. Jackson, aka (Billy, Bob) was born on June 1, 1936, to the late Carter and Roberta Jackson in Burkeville, VA. He was called to be with the Lord on March 15, 2020, at Chippenham Hospital.
Robert was initially employed at the Veneer Plant in Burkeville, VA. Shortly after, he was employed at Wilkerson Tire for several years, Star Value, then went into hauling pulpwood with his brother James “ Jimmy “ Jackson.
Bob had a passion for fishing, playing spades with family and friends. He has been a Trustee at Union Baptist Church since 2005.
Robert is proceeded in death by two sisters, Lucy Robertson (Clarence), and Bertha Irene Jackson of Burkeville, VA. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eunice Jackson; his three loving children, Bernard Jackson (Olga), Patricia Castillo (Jose) and Robert Jackson (Tammy); five grandchildren, Shanelle Peaks of Palm Bay, FL, Keith Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, India Jackson, Chynna Jackson and Quincy Jackson of Burkeville, VA; six great grandchildren, Keon Jackson, Alexis Peaks, Jasmine Peaks, Kieren Jackson, Kaloni Jackson and Braelen Gregory; his brother, James “Jimmy” Jackson (Doris) of Burkeville, VA; his sisters, Nancy Palmer (David), Hazel Johnson (Ronnie), Mary Lee Edmonds (Joseph) and Lillian Jones (Nathaniel); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
