Rennie Marion Lee entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born May 1, 1932 to the late Burnell and Ruth E. Harris.
She was educated in the Prince Edward County Public Schools. At an early age she joined Macedonia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Atwood G. Lee; daughter, Venice Jones; son, McKater Lee; granddaughter, Natasha N. Haskins; three sisters, Joyce Todd, Julia Royal and Vivian Lee; one brother, Hildre Harris.
Rennie leaves to cherish her memory: four loving and devoted children, Genell Pitts (Richard) of Huntsville, AL; Carlon Lee of Burkeville, VA, Sinthera Dodson and Ruth Chalkley (Frankie) both of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Elsie Hubbard of Rice, VA and Debra Allen of Hampden-Sydney, VA; one brother, Harrie Harris of Hampden-Sydney, VA; three aunts, Mary Eanes, Sarah Byrd and Lucille Eanes; three uncles, Walter, Stacey and Arnold Eanes; eight sisters-in-law, Mary Harris, Nelvina Jackson, Addie Wilson, Eugeenie Yancey, Virginia Lee, Virginia Little Lee, Shirley Edmonds Lee and Laverne Lee; three brothers-in-law, Larry Allen, Charlie Lee and Daniel Lee; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church, Rice. Interment church cemetery.
