Obituary for Reginald C. Reed
In the early morning hours of Thursday, July 12, 2018 Reginald Conrad Reed entered eternal rest. Reggie was born October 25, 1964 to Hazel Reed and the late John Reed, Sr.
He joined Little Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. Reggie graduated from Amelia County High School in 1984. He worked many years as a school custodian until his health failed.
Reggie was preceded in death by his father, John Reed, Sr. and brother John Reed, Jr. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother Hazel; devoted niece Jarquasia and nephew Jarek Reed; devoted aunts and uncles, Barbara (Bill) Thompson, Samuel (Deborah) and Benjamin (Mary) Pegram, Rosa (Bruce) Bradley, Katherine Bradley, Lavern and Roberta Pegram, Laverta Patrick, Alice (Chester) Pegram, Mabel Archer, Raymond (Lyndell) Patrick (Doris) and Benjamin (Jennifer) Reed; a devoted cousin whom he referred to as “sis”, Virginia Robinson and a host of cousins and friends.
Memorial Services Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia. Interment private.
