Rebecca Ann Bolden Jones was called to her heavenly home on June 9, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital. Rebecca, known as “Becky” was born on November 21, 1949 to the late Calvin and Carrie Bolden.
Becky graduated from Russell Grove High School in 1969 and later married Archer Jones, Jr. Rebecca truly gave her life to God, and also enjoyed praising his name. God called her to join Liberty Baptist Church at an early age and was recalled to praise him again under the pastoral of Dr. Herbert Robertson, Sr.
She truly enjoyed spending time with her adorable grandchildren Kiyou, and Kody (BoBo), family and friends.
She leaves behind, her devoted husband of thirty-four years Archer Jones, Jr., three children, Kirk Jones (Kelly), Michael Jones and Tammy Jones; two grandchildren, Kiyou and Kody Jones; aunt, Eloise Banks; uncle, Joseph Banks; four sisters-in-law, Irene Banks, Bessie Jones, Mary Alice, and Clara Squire; special devoted cousin, Sherry Banks; devoted friends, Goldie Stilton, John Rogers, Dr. and Mrs. Herbert Robertson, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Amelia with interment in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.
