Randolph Elvis Lewis Sr., 68, departed this life on Monday, December 30th. Elvis, as he was

affectionately known, was born on November 26, 1956, in Crewe, Virginia, to Agnes Lewis

Martin and the late Grant Randolph Lewis. Educated in the Nottoway County Public School

system, he attended Watson School before relocating to Connecticut, where he graduated from

Weaver High School.

Elvis proudly served his country in the United States Navy, enlisting at an early age and

receiving an honorable discharge. His time in the Navy sparked a love for traveling, which

became a lifelong passion. In addition to his adventurous spirit, Elvis was known for his love of

food, his vibrant personality, and his devotion to his family and friends.

Elvis found joy in being the life of the party, bringing laughter and positivity wherever he went.

His generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need earned him the admiration and love

of those around him. Above all, Elvis loved the Lord and lived a life rooted in faith. Elvis was

baptized at Union Baptist Church where he deepened his spiritual commitment to God, which

guided him through life’s challenges and filled him with gratitude for his blessings.

Elvis was especially dedicated to his family, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Professionally, he worked at the United States Postal Service and later in life pursued his

interest in travel as an Independent Travel Agent with Inteletravel and Planet Net Marketing. He

also faithfully attended AA meetings across the country, demonstrating his commitment to

personal growth and supporting others in recovery.
