Obituary for Ralph Joseph Craft
Honorable Ralph Joseph Craft, 59, left his earthly home peacefully on May 20, 2020. As a veteran of United States Army Infantry division Post-Vietnam serving from March 21, 1979 to March 21, 1982; Honorable Craft executed astounding leadership attributes and special training assigned to protect our country.

Honorable Craft was born on October 13, 1960 in Virginia to the late Rosetta C. Booker and the late James Craft. He is survived by his devoted daughter Dr. Brittney Clinton Hill (James) of Winston-Salem, NC; fiancé Ms. Terry Maxwell (Te’Aria Maxwell, devoted daughter & devoted Mother Susan Hicks) of Meherrin Virginia; Five brothers: Benjamin Craft (VA), David Craft (NC), Donald Craft (VA), Franklin Craft (VA), William Craft (VA), and a late heavenly sister; Ms. Brenda C. Sims; Two nieces; Danielle Craft (VA) and Jasmine Craft (NC); Two nephews, Dale Craft (VA) and David Craft Jr (NC), a great nephew Jaden Craft, and a host of extended relatives and loved ones.

Honorable Craft was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a patient, loving, and devoted father. He favorably spent his life loving and cherishing his better half; Ms. Terry Maxwell, better known as his “side-by-side”. As a natural service to all mankind; Honorable Craft was gifted and talented serving on other professional platforms to give back to the community as a Master Mason of James H. Young Lodge #670 30th District, PHA of Winston-Salem, NC in 1987, Dudley Beauty Cosmetologist of Greensboro, NC, Martial Arts Instructor of
Winston-Salem, NC, a well-known mechanic through his father’s legacy, and a well-known comical CB Radio anchor better known as “Shucky Ducky”.

Viewing Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Services Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia. Interment private.
