Obituary for Pinkie B. Royall
Pinkie Banks Royall went to be with the Lord on November 01, 2014. She was born on May 15, 1914 in Mannboro, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson S. Royall; daughters Doris R. Carter and Rosa Lee Ward and son, Walter N. Royall.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Catherine Townes, Lucy R. Palmer (William) and Annie R. Morton of Amelia, VA; two sons, Rudolph Royall of Richmond, VA and Henry Royall of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Miss Pinkie, as she was affectionately known, worked tirelessly to mentor, and assist in building the lives of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and the children of friends.
She recently celebrated her 100th birthday, which brought together many past and present relatives and friends. Anyone that met this vivacious woman was touched in some way, always with a word of wit.
Funeral Services Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Manassa Hill Baptist Church, Amelia with interment in the church cemetery.
