Obituary for Phyllis J. Bradshaw
Very quietly and peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2012, Phyllis J. Bradshaw made the transition from earthly life to life everlasting surrounded by her family. Phyllis was born to Phillip and Jean Atkins on October 21, 1969 in Prince Edward, VA.
She received her education in the Prince Edward County Public School System. Phyllis was baptized at an early age, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and became a member of High Rock Baptist Church.
She was employed at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital for a number of years where she was a well loved and well respected employee that was dedicated to her job.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a dedicated and loving husband, Jeffrey O. Bradshaw, Sr. of Crewe, VA; one son, Howard Divens, Jr. of Crewe, VA; two daughters, Beonca and Taleka Tucker of Crewe, VA; step-children, Jeffrey Jr. of Crewe, VA, Keila Bradshaw, Mikal Bradshaw, and Tamina Bradshaw, all of Richmond, VA; one grandson, Jahseir Page of Crewe, VA; her parents, Phillip and Jean Atkins of Prospect, VA; one devoted sister, Lisa Tucker of Prospect, VA; four devoted sisters-in-law, Angel Bradshaw, Sharonda Epes, Chrystal Eppes, Carlisa Eppes, all of Richmond, VA; two devoted brothers-in-law, Tyrone Casper of Ft. Worth, TX and Carlos Eppes of Crewe, VA; a dedicated mother-in-law, Carolyn Bradshaw-Rucker of Crewe, VA; a dedicated aunt, Karen Atkins of Rice, VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Grove Baptist Church, Rice with interment in the Crewe Cemetery, Crewe.
