He was born on January 30, 1949 to the late William and Enus Tucker. Nathaniel was educated in the Nottoway County Public School System. At an early age, he joined New Popular Mount Baptist Church where he served as the Pastor and was a faithful member.
In 1993, Nathaniel retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad after 25 years of service. After retirement, Nathaniel worked as a part time bus driver and janitor with Nottoway County Public Schools until he was hospitalized.
Nathaniel will be remembered for uplifting the community with his positive words and songs as a pastor and friend to many. A talented musician, Nathaniel was a founding member of the Traveling Kingsman quartet, proudly spreading the gospel for over 50 years.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Doris Tucker. He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Michael (Angela) and Kevin (Keshae); two grandsons Christopher and Travis; one granddaughter, Jada; four brothers, Daniel, Dwight, Gary (Patricia), Robert (Edna); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, other relatives and friends.
Viewing Friday, February 4, 2022 from 11 to 7PM. Funeral Services Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00PM at Nottoway High School. Interment New Poplar Mount Baptist Church.
