ORIS ANTOINE “BIG-O” DOWTIN entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2010 in Richmond, VA. He was born June 15, 1985 to Karen Dowtin and Oris Eley, Jr.
He joined First Nottoway Baptist Church at an early age, and rejoined on March 7, 2010.
He was a very outgoing person that was loved by everyone. He was always the life of the party and will surely be missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by a grandmother, Cassie Dowtin, one uncle, James Dowtin and one aunt, Beverly Eley.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother, Karen Dowtin of Blackstone, VA; father, Oris Eley, Jr., grandmother, Bettie Eley, Grandfather, Oris Eley Sr., all of North Carolina; two brothers, DeLante Dowtin of Virginia and Ly’dale Nelson of North Carolina, one sister, Sierra Eley of North Carolina; two devoted aunts, Deneen Dowtin and Nancy Dowtin of Virginia; also Sherry Eley, Darlene, Arlene, Angie, Dominica and Cheryl, all of North Carolina; uncles, Danny and Lewis of Washington, DC, Ray, Anthony and Gerald of North Carolina; and a host of cousins, a devoted friend, Andirene Banks of Blackstone, VA; and a devoted best friend, Cashay Coles of Blackstone, VA.
Funeral Services Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First Nottoway Baptist Church, Crewe with interment in the church cemetery.
